At A Child's Notebook, we believe all children deserve a quality education. Currently we partner with local communities in Laos, and together invest in the lives of children. The COVID-19 crisis has reinforced the importance of education and a safe learning environment—having a safe place to learn the basics of reading and writing can help individuals and communities manage through these difficult times and strive for better opportunities. Laos was selected as our first location in Southeast Asia because of its communities’ willingness to support and participate as volunteers, providing labor, local resources, and leadership for the projects. The grateful community members want to be part of the solution.
